Meet Kimeran Evans!
A native West Virginian, Kimeran graduated from the West Virginia University (WVU) Masters of Physical Therapy (MPT) program in 2004. She then went on to pursue full-time clinical practice in outpatient orthopedics as well as her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010. She was excited to return to her home state and alma mater in 2011 to accept her current position of Assistant Professor within the WVU Division of Physical Therapy program. Her current roles of full time physical therapy faculty member and part time public health doctoral student have combined to create a love and interest of healthcare services provided to community members beyond the walls of the clinic. She loves to promote movement-related changes among community members and to share this love and interest with students.
Kimeran is one of many presenters at the March 3rd Women on Wellness event at the Chestnut Ridge Church. Sessions include health screenings, movement, healthy foods, cooking demonstrations, women’s legal issues, how to start your own business, breast health, self-defense
